Beat the Street, 21st April – 19th May:

Beat the Street is an inclusive community-based game that allows everyone to explore their community through active travel whilst collecting points for themselves and/or a team for a chance to win some great prizes! Simply collect a card and map from a local distribution point and scan them at ‘beat boxes’ located around Wigston and South Wigston.

How Can I Take Part?

Primary school-age children require fobs and maps to take part in the game. They will receive these directly from their school along with a parent pack. All other members of the community require a card and map. These are available from the distribution points listed on the website, which you can access, along with an online version of the ‘Beat the Street’ map at:

How to get involved?

This workshop is open to all health and social care colleagues working across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (LLR) irrespective of whether you are shielding, working from home, or at work. The workshop will be delivered on various dates over the next few months.
