2022 Virtual Health and Wellbeing (Lead, Connect, Care) Festival
What’s it all about?
Planning is now well underway for the 2022 Virtual Health and Wellbeing (Lead, Connect, Care) Festival, a week-long celebration for everyone working in health, social care, and emergency services in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland as a thank-you for your continuing hard work amid the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following on from the hugely successful online event last year, get ready for our latest event.
The last 18 months have required us to think differently and be truly innovative in our service delivery. This festival will showcase exemplary Quality Improvement projects and will offer delegates the opportunity to share best practices and learning with peers across the whole integrated care system.
The festival is completely free and is open to everyone working in health, social care and emergency services in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland as a thank-you for your continuing hard work amid the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2022 Virtual Health and Wellbeing (Lead, Connect, Care) Festival offers the opportunity to join a wide variety of activity sessions across each day. As well as featuring some well-known faces delivering keynote speeches throughout the week.
It’s a fully online event with live sessions accessed through Microsoft Teams and pre-recorded material accessible through the LLR Academy website and social media pages.
And if you can’t join the live sessions, these will all be recorded for you to watch back at your leisure.

We want as many of our staff as possible to get involved and enjoy the activities at this brilliant festival – so pop the dates in your calendar today.
Watch this space for more details of what’s coming and how you can register for the festival via our usual staff updates.
The wide variety of activities held throughout the 2021 event included Zumba, Mindfulness, healthy eating, Emotional Resilience, Women’s Health, Staff Stories, Men’s Health, Schwartz, and many more.
We’ll let you know the headliners and activities planned for this year’s festival very soon.
